About Ryan Turner

As a child I liked to eat food, growing up that passion for eating food continued to grow and grow much like my stomach! These days I think the correct term is foodie? My first job in high school was working in food manufacturing and I have been hooked ever since. Over the past 10 years I have been a multi-site manager in a production/retail business, to now overseeing a large production team whom deliver incredible results working with state of the art machinery. My passions for food has morphed into more than just that, I am very passionate about building relationships and breeding a positive workplace culture. Helping my team with self development and awareness is a huge part of who I am, It's such a great feeling to be able to mentor, upskill and show my team talents that they sometimes don't realise they had. Although a big part of my job is relationship building, I am very goal orientated and work with a hands on approach. Food safety, GMP, HACCP, staff training/development, creating SOP's, managing day to day activities, adhering to WHS and quality legislative requirements, monitoring OEE's and much more is all part of my day to day role. For me, self development and career growth is very important. I am as passionate as they come and am always willing to put myself out there!
