About Ryan Urzada

While his business card may read “Chief Experience Officer of The Atlas Hotel,” Ryan Urzada‘s title should more accurately be “Chief Globetrotter.” Urzada is no newbie to the hotel industry, having collected a bounty of travel stories from his globe-spanning adventures. In addition to being a guest in hundreds of hotels, he also grew up working in the hotel industry, taking his first management role 19 years ago. His latest heart-pounding career expedition was the renovation, deflagging, and independent rebranding of his full-service, 200 room conference property, The Atlas° Hotel. While his rappelling skills are spot on, so are his management skills – sporting credentials such as being a Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) and packing a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University. Although wanderlust runs deep within Ryan, he also appreciates the opportunity to serve the city he calls home by sitting on Regina’s Board of Directors for Economic Development and Tourism, as well as filling the Past-Chair role for the Regina Hotel Association Board of Directors.
