Having accumulated over 12 years of business leadership experience and cross-industry synergy has forged my expertise in fostering technological advancements, strategic foresight, operational efficiency, and excellence. Then: Having matriculated from Grey High School in 2009, I soon began a Bachelor of Philosophy (Hons) in Marketing Management. I graduated from IMM Graduate School of Marketing in 2013. During my final year of studies (2013), I joined Sadiba Communications, a VoIP fixed-line communication & technology services company. I was initially tasked with a brand overhaul (now & still PureGroup SA) and later, as the Marketing Executive, implemented the National expansion strategy – taking a small, Eastern Cape-based business, to the South African Metros. In 2015, an opportunity arose, which consequently resulted in me relocating to Durban as the Durban Branch Manager. A turnaround strategy was required to generate sustainable business growth in the region. Later: Having improved the overall business performance in KZN, my leadership and strategic strengths were identified. I was included as part of the company's ExCo, as Managing Executive (2017). This role prompted me to further advance my education. In 2018, I began studies at Regent Business School and proceeded in completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA). In 2020, I completed my MBA, submitting my Dissertation - Exploring the Role of Change Management and Its Impact on Service Delivery – A Case Study of The Technical Support Department at PureGroup SA. In 2022, the unforeseen passing of the company CEO. An internal leadership group, including me, was assembled. I was required to oversee 70 personnel, leading at the C-suite level, driving sales objectives, performance reporting, commercial and cashflow oversight, not limited to budget forecasting into the 2023/24 financial year. Now: Deeply immersed in South Africa's exciting startup world, I'm constantly inspired by the resilience and creativity of local entrepreneurs. My focus is on identifying disruptive technologies, mentoring early-stage companies, & connecting talent with opportunity, and playing a part in building the next generation of successful businesses.
