About Ryan Walker

Experienced and mission-driven professional with a diverse background spanning law enforcement, tactical operations, and small business ownership. I spent over a decade with the Edmonton Police Service in operational roles, including patrol, beat work in high-traffic areas such as Whyte Avenue and West Edmonton Mall, and a majority of my career in the Tactical Section—first as a Constable, then returning as a Sergeant. In Tactical, I responded to and led hundreds of critical incidents, including hostage rescues, high-risk drug warrant executions, homicide suspect arrests, and dynamic vehicle takedowns. I played a key role in planning and coordinating complex operations, including large-scale events like the 2024 Papal Visit to Edmonton. I also contributed to advancing internal training and refining policy and procedures to reduce liability and enhance safety for both officers and the public. Over the past five years, I’ve also channeled my leadership and operational skills into entrepreneurship as the owner of four Supplement King locations in Edmonton and surrounding areas. Our stores are built on a foundation of expert customer service, with highly trained staff who provide informed guidance across a wide range of health and nutrition products. I’m passionate about people, strategy, and operational excellence—whether it's in high-stakes environments or competitive business landscapes. I'm now open to new opportunities that align with my values of service, leadership, and growth—particularly in public safety, emergency management, security consulting, or executive-level business operations.
