Research/Animal Technician with a strong aptitude in data and process analysis, I have had the privilege to work with world class researchers at Umass Amherst during my undergrad years to hone my knowledge and skills in both laboratory experience and animal care. I have also had brief work opportunities with world class biomedical and pharmaceutical companies in aging experiments and genetic studies. During my undergrad years I was able to participate in a biotech research project that used the data I collect from a parasite called Trapanosoma bruceii for growth charts, and the data was used in a science fair poster which top industry leaders from biotech companies attended My current position is a Research Assistant for Dr. Lee Quinton at Umass Chan Medical School, in the infectious disease department. I manage our lab and animal colony, including inventory and equipment maintenance
