About Ryan Walper

I am a red seal steamfitter, plumber and gas fitter. Specializing in planning/coordinating and mechanical completions and turnover. I personally thrive in dynamic and ever changing environments and excel and adapt in fast paced industries. I also am a certified work face planner through SAIT and LSE trained. I have completed the Franklin Covey's 7 habits of highly effective people. I have 13 years working in piping trades with experience including but not limited to Oil & Gas construction, industrial construction, commercial and residential construction and maintenance. I have supervisor experience as a foreman building new construction plus turnarounds, as well as part of construction management teams for large companies on multi million to multi billion dollar projects. I have held roles as a piping coordinator, hydrotest coordinator, and work face planner. I am an independent contractor with my own mechanical business which provides planning and pipe fitting services in Alberta and plumbing services in BC. In addition I studied Marketing at Camosun College and focus my spare time investing in short term and long term stocks and funds as well as private small business financing. In addition I am a personal and financial supporter of the Saanich Peninsula Hospital Foundation, DiPG research through The Cure Starts Now Canada, and the Victoria SPCA. I am currently assisting to set up and fund a new charitable organization in Canada that is very dear to myself and family- The Cure Starts Now Canada.
