About Ryan Wang

In high school, I developed a fascination of the natural world through my exploration of biology in-class and out-of-class. Always curious and compelled to continually absorb knowledge, dove into the microcosmos with my microscope and creek water samples, worked as a human body systems & diseases TA, and studied the sciences through my extracurriculars. At the same time, I found personal expression through the arts, molding my garden to form the living artwork I envisioned, exercising my freedom to explore various forms of writing, and putting paint and pencil to paper. At Berkeley, I hope to integrate my love of biology and passion of arts and bring my prior experiences and skills to the table and pursue meaningful and mind-opening research, educational opportunities, and community service.
