About Ryan Ward

Most people are happy when things are working correctly. I am at my best when they are not. A laptop that won't boot. A router that losses connectivity. A server that crashes after a service restart. I live for these moments. From small single user systems to large sprawling networks, my place is where the problem is. I want to dig my hands into it, understand it all, and then fix it to work even better than it was built to. I take particular pride in pushing system components well beyond their intended use and finding unique solutions to "common" problems. I have collected a wide range of skills through the years starting with Hardware and moving on Systems Monitoring and now Powershell and SQL Scripting. I am always looking for a new challenge. Computers that work as expected day-in, day-out are boring. Give me a crashing, tangled mess to unweave and I will be happy.
