I’ve dedicated my life and career to financial freedom for all, built on a foundation of equality. Our money has the power to change the world, and it’s up to us to do things differently. I fully believe that together we can create a world that integrates a prosperous human economy into a thriving global ecology. I’m a fintech founder/CTO who has prototyped, architected, built, and brought a fintech solution to market in Canada and Zimbabwe. My work has been bootstrapping and coding deep in the guts of peer-to-peer credit, payments and investments. In and around my work as a startup developer, I also have well over a decade of experience as an accountant, financial analyst, small business broker and consultant. Having personally experienced the radical transformation in productivity and the exponential growth of capacity that comes from working in an AI-first environment, I’ve become a passionate advocate. It’s clear to me from lived experience that AI-native workflows are the future of knowledge work and the next evolution of human decision making. I'm inspired by a vision of AI-native wealth building tools, because the transformation that brings 10x-100x results for the humans who employ it occurs when AI is built into the base layer, not when it is tacked on as an afterthought. On the development side, I’m experienced in Cypher, Neo4j, Express.js, TypeScript, Python, database design and deployment, infrastructure as code, systems design, APIs, batch processing, Flutter, and React. On the finance side, I’m experienced in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, project accounting, revenue allocations, and balance sheet management. I’ve analyzed markets, opportunities, and results for hundreds of businesses and projects, and I’ve designed FP & A systems to consolidate and roll up over a hundred independently managed divisions for unified reporting. I’m well versed in revenue, EBITDA, SDE, operating expenses, gross margins, and cash flow. I’ve spent much of my career translating complex financial and technological considerations into dashboards and concise summaries that provide actionable insights. Over the years I’ve become a versatile communicator, with experience leading and engaging teams and stakeholders across cultures and continents.
