Any stories today?” Back in school, I looked forward to telling my mates the latest jokes and stories I’d read. I haven’t stopped since. Storytelling fascinates me, with its incredible power to connect with a person, motivate them, and even influence what they do next. In radio, as a creative producer, I used words and sounds to project movies in the mind of our listeners, to spark their own imaginations and actions. My earlier experience as a broadcast journalist gave me the tools to shape compelling stories, fine-tuning my ability to hold attention, build anticipation and stay sharp while on the airwaves. The storytelling grew more facets and layers as I transitioned into the digital space. Even with AI, new platforms and methods, and audiences that evolve like Pokemon on steroids, the goal has not changed: to build human connections that matter. Now, my role overseeing content strategy across 7 different countries immerses me in the diverse cultures, wants and dreams of our global audience - with new perspectives and angles that are just grazing the tip of the iceberg of epic stories to be told. Shoutout to the credits roll of mentors and friends who’ve had my back and deposited wisdom, technical skills and opportunities, while sharpening me as a person - to stay honest, keep a posture of learning, and see the greater vision, in the stories I tell today.
