About Ryan Whiting

Stories. Everything in life is told through a story. It’s how we communicate, how we learn, how we cope, and how we thrive. It took me well into my adulthood, having many experiences, and interacting with a diverse group of people, to fully realize the power of a story. I began my career in hospitality. I spent the first 18 years of my career working in hotels and casinos. There are too many stories to tell from the experiences I had, but the one thing it taught me is the importance of listening and connecting with people. Those years were spent in front of house and back of house operations, human resources, and learning and development. It’s what made me who I am today. It’s what helped me find “my voice”. Today, I use those experiences, those stories, to use the creative part of myself I took so long to find. Working as an Instructional Designer allows me to take an issue or idea, and craft a solution that makes a difference. Being a voice over artist allows me to tell others stories and engage people into action. This is who I am. This is what I do.
