About Ryan Yoon

As a first-generation undergraduate student, I have often faced setbacks and challenges. From being beholden with the expectation to thrive as the first one in my family to go to college to adapting to online learning environment in college, I have been shaped by a multitude of personal experiences. With my involvement in extracurriculars, such as UCLA Circle K and volunteering at a local hospital, I have developed my leadership skills and the communication skills that allowed me to comprehend and adapt to various situations. My experiences in college molded me to become a risk taker that collaborates with my peers to adapt to a number of different situations. As a pre-medicine student, I hope to explore and educate the community that I serve facts retaining to the medical field and combat medical disinformation.
