About Ryan Young
I am a senior at Carroll University studying Elementary Education with a minor in Social Studies. My passion is in working with kids and helping young people succeed. I look forward to building on the experiences I have already had tutoring a middle school student at Saratoga STEM School, working with inner city students from the Hmong American Peace Academy and the CEO Leadership Academy, volunteering at Hadfield Elementary in Waukesha, and coaching youth through Upward Sports. I also coach Varsity Football for my alma mater, Waukesha West High School. It is a privilege to be part of such an experienced coaching staff and to be able to contribute to a program that has achieved so much success. I am excited to be working with the YMCA this summer as a Sports Camp Counselor. This opportunity will allow me to gain more experience working with youth and combine my passions for youth and sports all in one experience.
