About Ryan Yu

I am a Registered Nurse and a graduate of the University of Alberta, Faculty of Nursing Collaborative Stream; graduating with distinction. I have great interest in the field of oncology and palliative care having worked at the Cross Cancer Institute Inpatient Units and preceptored at the Tertiary Palliative Care Unit at the Grey Nuns Community Hospital. Currently, I work as a case manager with Urban Palliative Home Care to help clients and families navigate life-limiting disease progression and end-of-life processes. I am proud to deliver excellent, compassionate care to patients and their families as they navigate diagnoses that alter the course of their lives. My long-term goal is to mentor future nurses and perhaps taking a leap in pursuing a Master’s in Nursing.
