I'm the nightshift Operations Supervisor for DHL Supply Chain FSL for Pratt and Whitney Plant 32 in Lethbridge. My current role is quite unique and very rewarding. I manage 4 shifts a week with 10 dedicated night associates on my team. PWC is a world leader in the manufacturing of aviation turbine engines. My current role is quite unique and very rewarding. Taking care of the logistics evolved to have parts ready to build these quality engines. Global shipping/receiving, unpacking of expensive fragile parts, serializing parts, warehousing/managing inventory, using MHE (Mechanical Heavy Equipment) to pick and put-away parts. We prepare and deliver the parts directly onto the manufacturing floor/line/work stations for the PWC technicians to assemble various stages of the engines. We end up learning a great deal about the process 🤓. Home has been Lethbridge for the last 16 years. I spent 30 years in Calgary prior to this. An amazing city that'll always be my home town.
