About Ryan Zigler

Technology has always been a significant focus in my life. From personal projects to work projects, technology is what I find most satisfying and challenging, which is why I decided to make it my full-time pursuit. Becoming a full-stack software engineer allowed me to understand the adage, “Find something you love to do, and you’ll never have to work a day in your life.” As a software engineer who is passionate about React and Node.js applications, I strongly believe in building solid frameworks and processes to ensure consistency, repeatability, and stability both within my applications and around them. I consistently immerse myself in new technologies because I'm passionate about learning and improving myself. I’m collaborative by nature and tend to be the teammate who digs into the weeds to find a bug or examine a new tool for the team's benefit. I believe that each person on a team brings a unique perspective and knowledge that, when combined, makes for the best possible outcome/application. I am a strong communicator who works hard to develop relationships built on a solid foundation of trust. I can also identify and understand both the fine details of individual tasks and longer-term “big picture” objectives. I firmly believe these skills, along with my versatility, will allow me to become an asset to your software engineering team. As a full-stack developer, I recognize the importance that both the front-end and back-end play in creating an ideal user experience. An application must have a fast, reliable, and secure back-end and an intuitive, efficient, responsive, and easy-to-use front-end to solve a user’s needs. I actively consider all these variables to build applications with high levels of user adoption and engagement. I have experience working in the MERN/PERN stacks and enjoy navigating both front-end and back-end challenges. When I’m not at my desk leveling up my professional skills, I like to be outdoors as much as possible! I love hockey and I try to play as much golf as life (and Minnesota weather) will allow.
