Curiosity, connection, and community are the driving forces behind everything I do. I recently stepped into an exciting new chapter as the Assistant General Manager at COVA, a vibrant local brewery and coffeehouse that brings people together over great coffee, craft beer, and shared experiences. In this role, I have the opportunity to support a dynamic team, lead with purpose, and contribute to a business that’s deeply rooted in the community. My professional journey has been shaped by a deep commitment to learning and leadership. I’m passionate about cultivating inclusive, people-first environments where both teams and individuals can thrive. Whether it’s streamlining operations, building relationships with guests and partners, or mentoring team members, I strive to lead with empathy, curiosity, and accountability. I hold two Bachelor’s degrees from Virginia Commonwealth University—one in Sociology and another in Business Management. This unique combination has helped me better understand both people and processes, and it continues to inform the way I approach leadership and team development. I also have a strong interest in continuing my formal education in the future to further strengthen my skills and expand my impact. Outside of work, I stay engaged with my community and seek out opportunities that challenge me to grow. I believe that leadership is a lifelong learning process, and I’m always looking for new insights and hands-on experiences that help me evolve—personally and professionally. I’m always open to connecting with others who share a passion for hospitality, leadership, and community involvement.
