Passionate about diving into the fragmented pieces of one's mind and aiding in the facilitation of their mental, physical, and spiritual restoration through evidence-based approaches and simply being a human who authentically cares. I am the IOP counselor and clinician for the W.I.S.H./Gender specific intensive outpatient substance abuse program at Insight Human Services. I work closely with individuals with a dual-diagnosis and background of trauma, DMV, personality disorders, traits of schizotypy, anxiety disorders, and PTSD who also are attempting to obtain or maintain their recovery from illicit substances or alcohol. I conduct and run group sessions 3X weekly, schedule and meet with clients in the women’s program individually based on their own unique needs and/or enrollment in TASC or MAT. I complete treatment plans, CCA updates, NCTOPPS, PHP transfers, GPRAS, and assist in the development and organization of appropriate therapeutic interventions to be applied in treatment. Additionally, I am working actively on addressing barriers and finding effective resources for individuals in need to assist in the enhancement of their personal wellness and functionality within their daily life. I have been creating material that is both supplemental and curriculum based, as well as working on a recipe pamphlet for our housing program to assist clients in learning mindfulness and how to have proper nutrition to feed their families on recovery on a budget. I am in the clinical portion of my Masters on clinical mental health counseling at Wake Forest University as I seek full dual licensure and I have a bachelors in substance abuse counseling from the University of Cincinnati. I am certified in DBT, CBT, CPP, interventions and preventions, safety training and protocols in the clinical field without the use of restraints, gender specific services, and more. I look forward to growing in my career and assisting in the facilitation of inner healing.of inner healing.
