About Ryley Eakin

As a Fraud Analyst at GeoComply, I apply my criminology and data analysis skills to detect and prevent fraudulent activities and protect the integrity of online gaming and sports betting platforms. I create and maintain reports and dashboards that monitor fraud trends, patterns, and indicators, and provide insights and recommendations to improve fraud prevention strategies and policies. I also collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as the fraud operations team, the customer support team, and the gaming regulators, to resolve fraud incidents and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. I have over two years of experience in the fraud domain, having started as a Fraud Associate at GeoComply in Jan 2022, and then promoted to a Fraud Analyst in Jul 2022. Prior to joining GeoComply, I completed a Junior Data Analyst Program from NPower Canada, where I learned how to use various data analysis tools and techniques, such as SQL, Python, Tableau, and Power BI. I also hold a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and a Certificate in Forensic Studies from Simon Fraser University, where I developed my interest and knowledge in the fields of crime, justice, and forensics. My core competencies include problem-solving, analytical thinking, communication, and customer service. I am passionate about applying my skills and education to make a positive impact in the online gaming and sports betting industry, and to contribute to GeoComply's mission of providing innovative and reliable solutions that protect the online world from fraud and risk.
