About Rylie Weldon

I am currently a CPO at Rise Custom Solutions focusing on prosthetics. I graduated with my master's degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics from CSU Dominguez Hills. Prosthetics and Orthotics captured my heart as a freshman in college when I got to see someone's smile get bigger and bigger as she continued to walk around the office after being in a wheelchair. That experience is something that I will never forget and working in the field now getting to experience this first hand keeps me excited to come to work every morning. I graduated in May of 2017 with a degree in Kinesiology and an emphasis in Biomechanics and a minor in Biomedical Engineering from Boise State University. While there I worked in a gait lab looking at how the body moved why the muscles are attached where they are to give the body the best mechanical advantage when the work is the hardest. I hope to take what I have learned from working in many different fields from lifeguarding and being a swim instructor to working as a research assistant and apply it to the rest of my life.
