About Ryyan Pritchett

I am a recent graduate of Harvard College currently teaching English Language Arts in Houston, Texas. The classroom is a sacred space where every child should feel seen, valued, and wanted, regardless of identity or background. As such, I have developed a learning environment that makes space for every student to thrive. In addition to education, I have years of professional experience in marketing and communications, alongside various roles in the public and non-profit sector. As an adaptive and enthusiastic team player, I have worked in a myriad of fast-paced environments from a youth homeless shelter to mayor’s office. My solution-driven mindset and leadership qualities have allowed me to serve on multiple executive boards in college, such as President of the Association of Black Harvard Women. My skills also include strategic planning, case management, policy analysis, project management, and crisis intervention.
