After serving 20+ years in the Armed Forces, stationed at various locations throughout the United States and having been combat deployed, I have had the unique opportunity to observe the intersections and interactions of countless cultures and subcultures. I have witnessed successful efforts to unify and strengthen communities, as well as the pitfalls of failed initiatives and undermined endeavors.My focus, within the realms of analysis and advising, is on the observation and study of trends pertaining to individual conduct and the roles thereof within society. My focus, within the realm of International Affairs, is on the development of robust and actionable policy, plans, and procedures that serve the larger strategic goals of the United States, but also bear in mind the security and human rights situations of our partner populaces abroad.Aside from my work in academia, I have more than twenty years of extensive training and experience in ground and logistic elements, as a technician and operator, staff supervisor and personnel development coordinator, analyst and advisor.
