Faculty leader of Arabic Medium Subjects at Scholars International Academy – Sharjah.( Aug 2020 – Present My role encompasses the day-to-day running of the Arabic, Islamic and Social studies across the school as well as the strategic planning involved in raising achievement within the school.• Leading 18 members of Arabic, Islamic and Social staff across the school.• Recruitment of new teachers.• Producing and monitoring the effectiveness of the department timetable.• Producing cover for absent colleagues.• MOE curriculum leader across the school FS –Y13.• Developing new areas of the curriculum to ensure students are equipped for the modern age such as levels, digital resources and interventions. • Monitoring the standard of teaching within the department.• Applying the inspection’s elements as learning walk documents along with other documents created for the same.• Raise the department data from weak/acceptable to Good which is 50% from the whole school evaluation.• Attending SPEA meetings.• Saving more than 70% from the department budget for the academic year 2022-2023. • QA Learning walk and lesson observation.• Leading meetings for whole Arabic and Islamic Department and train them.• Analysing the internal and external data for Arabic Medium subjects and break it down into teacher wise to support teaching and learning across the school.• Performance management and appraisal for my department.• Producing cover for absent colleagues.• Implement system to track the work for EAL, beginners and SEN students across the school.• Regularly run departmental meetings.• Production of exam timetables for all Arabic medium subjects.
