About Saad Mohammed Iqbal Ali

I am doing my Master’s in Electrical Engineering at the University of North Texas, with a focus on power systems, renewable energy, and electrical safety. My background includes power generation, transmission, and distribution, and I work with tools like ETAP and MATLAB for system modeling and analysis. I also work as a Research Assistant in the Mechanical Engineering Lab, where I design and build mechatronic projects using Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and PLC kits. Some of my work includes robotic cars, tracked vehicles, motorbike prototypes, and a humanoid robot. I am also creating a lab manual to document these projects and make them easier to use in the future. I am now looking for full time roles in power systems and energy engineering. I am especially interested in power generation, transmission, distribution, renewable integration, and grid modernization. I enjoy combining what I learn in class with hands-on projects, and I am excited to bring that same approach to my career.
