About Saaniya Sharma

I am a creative comms consultant with 5+ years of experience in the fashion and media industry. I’ve helped brands cultivate their voice and community by formulating effective brand messaging targeted campaigns social media content and communication strategies. After spending five years working with leading magazines and several reputed brands I came face-to-face with the exploitative and destructive side of fashion owing to overproduction and overconsumption further exacerbated by extremely low wages and dire working conditions for garment workers. So I embarked on a journey to learn about sustainability by pursuing a Master’s in Sustainability Management and Innovation. I want to use my skills and expertise to inspire individuals influence businesses and mobilise collective action to create a more sustainable and resilient future. I like distilling complex sustainability topics into relatable concepts and I believe that making sustainability fun and accessible to all is critical to driving mainstream change.
