About Saara Sheneen

I am a Project Management IT student, with a background in Computer Software Engineering and professional experience in software quality assurance, digital transformation, and inclusive design. I have worked as a QA Engineer at NuArca (a U.S based tech company) for 2+ years, contributed to sustainable innovation projects at FH Dortmund, and recently completed a data-driven internship at Deutsche Börse (Eurex Clearing), where I focused on internal process optimization and dashboard development. I enjoy working on interdisciplinary teams and am passionate about creating inclusive, practical, and well-managed solutions whether digital or physical. I believe design (whether digital systems or everyday objects) should be inclusive, sustainable, and accessible to everyone. This mindset guides my work in IT, project management, and socially responsible innovation. My goal is to manage and support the development of solutions that not only meet functional needs but also serve diverse users, including those often overlooked. I bring: • Project coordination skills using Scrum, SAFe, Jira, and Confluence. • Experience with software testing and automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, and Postman. • Proficiency in tools like Figma, Power BI, and BrowserStack for prototyping, analysis and UI testing. • Interdisciplinary collaboration: worked with architects and engineers in YourCity to design inclusive urban spaces for people with disabilities, and collaborated with technical and administrative teams in planning an energy management system for FH Dortmund. Recent experiences: • Completed an internship at Deutsche Börse (Eurex Clearing), contributing to the development of interactive dashboards to support process digitization and data analysis. • Supporting research on sustainable development, planning energy management system as a Research Assistant at FH Dortmund. • Worked as a software quality assurance Engineer at NuArca, contributing to manual and automated testing to improve product quality and delivery efficiency within an Agile team.
