About Sabin Syed

I am a Public Health professional with dental surgery background. Having done my post-graduation from IHMS-Delhi. My experience of nearly 8 years makes me well equipped to work along with MOHFW on various healthcare domains. My current job profile gave me hands on experience with building healthcare capacity through globally recognized platform of ECHO. Besides training, documentation, report writing, training evaluation, secondary research and project administration are my core skills. I was opportune enough to gain additional familiarity of working with government sector on Routine Immunization activities. In my early days I was associated with “Jeevan Mala Hospital”, Delhi as a Program Quality Intern and later on got an opportunity to work with “Shah Hospital”, Jaipur in capacity of Hospital and Preventive Health coordinator. Post that I worked as Program Coordinator with Toxics Link, New Delhi, I have worked on the project "Mercury Free Dentistry" in collaboration with “World Alliance for Mercury Free Dentistry” and “Biomedical waste management” at national level along with the Pharmaceutical pollution and Cytotoxic Drug handling and disposal guidelines. I have been part of ground level implementation of biomedical waste management rules 2016 in Gujarat, Delhi and Goa. I have also worked on the topic of sanitary waste. I was also part of district level monitoring committee for biomedical waste management. Recently I completed a project in the capacity of Senior training officer – Medical at the National Institute of Health and Family Welfare (NIHFW). Currently I am working as a Program coordinator –ECHO at ILBS, providing technical support in capacity building of health care workers across India in delivering quality hepatology care through ECHO and PRAKASH Programs
