About Sabine Eisses

With over twenty years of experience in freight forwarding and logistics, I am currently responsible for the GoGreen Sustainability agenda within Europe, working with our customers and our partners to jointly drive the ESG agenda. Prior to that I was the SVP Marketing & Sales for Europe at DHL Global Forwarding, the world's leading provider of air and ocean freight services. In this role, I was responsible for developing and executing the regional marketing and sales strategy, driving revenue growth, enhancing customer satisfaction, and strengthening the DHL brand. I was leading a team of more than 500 marketing and sales professionals across 30 countries, ensuring alignment, collaboration, and performance. Earlier on I was the Managing Director for Croatia, Serbia, and Slovenia, and before that, for the Czech Republic, where I successfully led the operations, financials, and business development of these markets, achieving double-digit growth, increasing market share, and securing several key accounts. I hold a Master of Business Administration from the Karl-Franzens-University in Graz and I am trained facilitator for leadership courses. In my previous work experience I was the Regional Transportation Manager Europe at Flex, overseeing a spend of 100 mio EUR being responsible for the procurement of transport and logistics services and the implementation in the manufacturing sites. I am passionate about delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for our customers, partners, and communities, and leveraging my expertise in freight forwarding, logistics, and sales to create value and impact. I am also committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive culture within DHL, where everyone can thrive and grow.
