About Sabrina Kiser

With twenty years of primary teaching under my belt, I am well versed in primary curriculum, early education, and parent-student-teacher relations. I taught first grade for four years before entering the second grade classroom. I have taught second grade for sixteen years. Prior to this experience, I was a Title I Instructor for a year. I am a dedicated educator who is well qualified to provide the motivation and directions students need to successfully learn. I am vested in my students, passionate about education, and devoted to my career. In my classroom, differentiation and hands-on approaches to learning are prevalent. I am well versed in project based learning (PBL) and have designed many fully integrated PBL units. I work diligently in teacher-based-teams, keep progress monitoring data on all students, and communicate closely with families on a timely basis. In May I earned my Bachelor of Science Degree from Malone University where I majored in Elementary Education. In 2009, I completed my Master of Science Degree in School Education. I hold an Ohio License for Elementary Education 1-8. In addition to these degrees, I currently have twenty-five additional graduate credits and have completed the Wilson Reading System Facilitator Level 1 training. Although I do not hold a reading endorsement, the Wilson Reading System Facilitator training affords me highly qualified status in reading instruction.
