About Sabrina Mable

My interest in architecture stems from a fascination for the way individual design ideas unite to form a building. I have a strong appreciation for how architecture creates a narrative of experience centering on the intended occupants and atmosphere of the space. I am also passionate about the role of architecture in leading the world towards a more sustainable environment through the incorporation of passive design principles to reduce building energy use and increase building resiliency. Additionally, I enjoy problem solving through design and determining creative solutions to social, environmental, and programmatic challenges. Throughout my studies and previous work experience I have expanded my creative conceptual thinking while maintaining project feasibility. As a Specialist in Technology within Architecture, I explored material properties and its ability to be applied to a design concept using various fabrication machines. My main drive as a designer is to create spaces that cultivate community and accommodate occupant needs while providing a memorable experience that fosters feelings of wonder, excitement, and positivity.
