About Sabrina Toomey

My life and career has been full of fun, hard work and variety! I grew up in New Jersey and moved to Pennsylvania about 10 years ago. From a 3 day temporary assignment as a secretary, I was fortunate enough to work for the same company for almost 19 years. There I held various positions in the telecommunications industry from secretary, assistant, budgeting, assistant purchasing agent, running the corporate library to forecasting and assisting in the administration of the federal & state Lifeline Assistance and USF programs. That experience helped me to quit my nice stable, desk job and go back to school to further my passion for gardening! After 2 years of schooling I learned enough about growing plants, to start a wholesale greenhouse.(Did I neglect to state that at the time my husband has about 15 years experience as a grower?) We grow bedding plants, herbs, vegetable plants, perennials and more. This is the hardest I have ever worked and I love almost every minute of it! I am very lucky to have a job that I love and am very passionate about! Still have a lot to learn in this ever changing industry and look forward to the continuing challenge.
