About Sacha Boulanger

I’m passionate about international relations and different aspects of geopolitics, from security to financial governance, development aids and what some would call the influence of innovation to international relations. I studied history as my bachelor’s degree, which brought me incredible analysis skills, knowledge on how the world is the way it is, on broad geopolitical schemes and a deep understanding on power relations throughout the time. I then completed a master’s degree in European Studies and therefore, know the whole institutional architecture of the European Union, the way power travels and the mechanism used to influence it. I’ve worked for an interest representation organization (Alliance 4 Europe) and understood how the concept I learned at university were applied on a daily work of representation. I understood better power dynamics and it convinced me even further in my belief that it is deeply based on human contact. I also worked in the automotive industry in Canada where I further improved my people skillset while following a GSMA’s professional course, which developed my training on international aid’s digital aspect. I also worked in Mongolia where I was brought to meet such different people from different cultures that I didn’t have a choice but to adapt. I worked on myself and learned how to further develop my analysis skills, on how to use them. I also built great friendships and still am in contact with people in the Mongolian and Kazakh diplomatic field, people that deeply inspired me. I now decided to come back to Brussels, I decided that this phase of discovery in my life could keep going but that it had to be in the field I’m most passionate about, in the field I studied and worked in for the most.
