About Sachi Danangi

I am a motivated Tourism and hospitality graduate, who is highly energetic, open-minded, and detail-oriented. I have been a long-time online tutor for elementary students in China and Sri Lanka. Throughout the few years, I have worked as a tutor, I have built my knowledge on different effective teaching methodologies and classroom activities. I have also learnt how to use cultural knowledge and teach in a way that I wouldn't offend their culture. Last four years I had the privilege to work with Asian Global Ltd, as a marketing and customer service intern. I have also completed my TESOL and was part of various exchange programs with Japanese students held by APU. I have also had the opportunity to work as a trainer at McDonald's, which taught me immensely about Japanese work ethics and also how to engage with Japanese people. All in all, I believe, these positions and all the experience have carved me into a more knowledgeable person and a great candidate for any job. Various positions require candidates to engage with people from diverse backgrounds and ethnicities. APU is known for its diversity, exchange programs conducted by APU, and studying at APU provided us the opportunity to work with teaching personnel and students from different ethnicities and cultures, this made me a very open-minded and adaptable person, thus, I believe, I have got that experience and the skill to adapt to any situation and communicate well.
