About Sachit Jacob

With over seven years of experience in the banking and financial services sector, I am a passionate and dedicated Trust Advisor at RBC Royal Trust, specializing in Indigenous Wealth. I have a Master of Finance degree from Sobey School of Business, and a Master of Business Administration from VIT University, as well as multiple certifications in banking, finance, and Indigenous awareness. In my current role, I leverage my expertise in administering Trust accounts, reviewing audit and investments of First Nation Trusts and building relations. I work collaboratively with a team of professionals from various disciplines, such as legal, tax and investments, to create and execute customized plans that meet the unique needs and goals of each community. In my previous role as a Department Manager in Financial Services Administration, I have lived and worked in multiple remote Indigenous communities for over two years. My key responsibilities were to administer the financial services department at some of the company’s highest revenue-generating locations. I have also worked in retail banking for over four years handling branch operations including accounting, business development, loan processing, training and development, AML and customer services.
