About Sadee Broida

My name is Sadee Broida and I am a senior nursing student at Montana State University. Growing up in a medical family, I have always been interested in taking care of and uplifting patients when they are most vulnerable. From a very young age, I volunteered in hospitals which led me to the realization of wanting to become a nurse. In 2018, I started my prerequisites at Santa Barbara City College. I became a Human Anatomy tutor for summer school at there after I completed the course. This enhanced my knowledge about the human body and how it functions. I also worked as a scribe at a Pediatric Orthopedic & Scoliosis Center in Santa Barbara while I finished my prerequisites. At the same time, I completed the course to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and ended up working as a CNA for a year and a half before getting accepted to nursing school. Since I've been in nursing school, it has allowed me to experience different aspects of nursing. I am finding myself most interested in Medical & Surgical, Labor & Delivery, and women's health. I have been successful in school and work because of the skills I have obtained through volunteering, leadership programs, sports, and working from a young age. I have been a leader my whole life and I am comfortable stepping into a leadership role when the opportunity presents itself. Having been ASB President and Senior Class President in High School has given me great knowledge on how to be a leader and teammate. I have excellent attention to detail while multitasking complex assignments in a fast-paced environment. I pride myself on being someone that can be nurturing and calm while in unpredictable environments. I am organized, punctual, professional, and believe I have great attributes to bring to any environment I am put in.
