About Sadhika Senthilkumar

As a junior at Texas A&M University, my achievements reflect a strong commitment to academic excellence and a deep passion for community service. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I tutored orphaned children in India via Zoom, which strengthened my ability to share knowledge effectively and reinforced my dedication to helping others. This commitment was further developed through my role as a sales associate at Hollister, where I honed my organizational skills and my involvement in various clubs and organizations that solidified my passion for supporting underserved communities. Within my university, I've worked as an undergraduate researcher in the Schmeichel Lab, which focuses on Social Psychology, and the Arthur Lab, which focuses on Industrial-Organizational Psychology. In these roles, I assist graduate students with data collection and proctor volunteers, contributing a combined 17 hours a week to research efforts. Additionally, as an HR Partner Intern at Amazon, I gained hands-on experience in employee relations, conducted investigations, and led a project to improve employee development, further deepening my HR skills and understanding of workplace dynamics. Moreover, my role as an Event Planning and Social Media Intern for Miracle Messages allowed me to plan events, engage with the online community, and implement volunteer recruitment strategies to support our mission of reconnecting individuals experiencing homelessness with their loved ones. As a Teach for America Ignite Fellow, I provided personalized tutoring to elementary students multiple times a week, strengthening my mentoring ability and fostering my passion for education equity. These academic, professional, and volunteer experiences have equipped me with a comprehensive skill set, including communication, organization, event planning, HR operations, and social media management, all driven by a steadfast commitment to community service and academic growth.
