About Sadia Sajid

I work at the intersection of fundraising, strategy, and community building, supporting organisations to grow sustainably. For nearly two decades, I’ve worked in the charity and nonprofit space, helping raise millions of pounds for causes in the UK and internationally. My experience spans live event fundraising, strategic income generation, organisational development, and public-facing work across TV, radio, and large-scale platforms.Alongside my fundraising work, I currently serve as Head of Strategy and Development at the Muslim Scout Fellowship, working closely with trustees and senior leadership to strengthen governance, build long-term income, and scale impact for thousands of young people across the UK.I also sit on the board of FEMYSO (the Forum of European Muslim Youth and Student Organisations), contributing at a governance level to conversations around youth leadership, civic participation, and the future of Muslim-led institutions across Europe.A consistent thread across my work is youth development, leadership, and long-term institution building. I’m particularly focused on how we fund this work sustainably and ethically, which is why I am also deepening my expertise in Islamic finance to complement my practical experience.I’m always open to thoughtful conversations around fundraising strategy, partnerships, organisational resilience, and community-led impact.
