About Sadie West
I have always been interested in the medical field, but have recently been unsure about which career path to take. I've been going back and forth between becoming an athletic trainer or a nurse. The classes I've been taking to reach my career goals are medical anatomy, sports medicine and EMR. I have also earned my CNA certification through MTECH. I am now doing an athletic training internship at Mountain View High School to help me decide on which career I'd like to pursue. I have played sports my whole life and currently play softball at Mountain View High School. I have been able to be the varsity captain for the past two years. I am currently signed to play softball for South Mountain Community College in Phoenix, Arizona where I'll be able to further grow as a student athlete. Being able to intern with Mountain View High School's Athletic Trainer will truly help me make this big decision in my life for which career to pursue. I get to see what their daily routine is. This internship gives me more insight on what it would be like. I get to learn about what it takes to become an athletic trainer.
