About Safa Toor

I would describe myself as a fun team player, who loves to interact with people. I am a hardworking and punctual person. A fast learner and a creative thinker. Eager to learn and be a part of organizations where I can sharpen my abilities and refine my skills. I am a BSc. Bio-medical graduate from York University, with a love for lab work. I have 4-5 years of wet and dry lab experience. Several years of experience in writing scientific reports and peer reviews. On top of this, I have also completed the Medical Terminology Course, expanding my skill set in the medical field. I also have 3 years of customer service experience, working in-store and online. In addition to this, 5 years of experience working in retail and food. Dealing with people daily and solving issues on the spot has been a skill that I acquired in this field. I have taken courses that have enhanced my Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel software. Been a part of various student associations, such as Islamic Relief of Canada, Rotaract Club, and Pakistani student association at York University. I am always looking forward to having meaningful conversations and learning from my peers and collogues to increase my knowledge.
