About Safi Amir

So far I have worked with small teams and having to have run multiple hands that carved me into an overall Systems Engineer for robotics systems, mostly for USVs and UGV platforms. Electronics/Hardware/Embedded Systems Engineering- Digital & Analogue Circuits - Design and build production and consumer grade PCBs - Build and write firmware for MCU boards: STM32, ATMEGA etc- Build Linux SBCs (Mostly TI Processors)- Write drivers for both MCU and MPU (Linux) devices. Software Engineering- C++ & C for low-level programming; mostly for critical systems - Python for quick deployment - Experience with integration in ROS, Ardupilot & Pixhawk stacks - Writing drivers for Serial/UDP/TCP/SPI based devices- Building GUI using QT, C# and Web based frameworks (Electron/Tauri)- Control Systems/Sensor Fusion etc Robotics related stuff. Systems Integration- Computer Vision stuff (OpenCV, YOLO etc)- Writing device drivers for INS/GPS/Lidars to be integrated into ROS or any C++ based system - Overall Autopilot architecture.
