About Sagar Bhatta

I’ve spent over seven years in solar PV, battery storage, and grid integration, with focus on engineering design and energy modeling. My core expertise lies in designing and optimizing PV plants, using tools like PVcase, PVsyst, SolarGIS, and HOMER Front to develop robust techno-economic models for co-located PV and storage systems in dynamic markets. I am driven by deep analysis to find the ‘why’ behind system performance. My focus from now on is shifting to grid integration, where I am actively building my skills in ETAP, DIgSilent PF, PSCAD, and xTAP to master short-circuit studies, dynamic stability studies, contingency analysis, protection coordination, and EMT simulations to solve the challenges of high renewable penetration.
