About Sagar Sethi

Research Focus: Greetings! I'm pursuing my Ph.D. on the dynamical evolution of giant radio galaxies. My research involves intensive radio data analysis, big data handling, and the application of complex coding pipelines. I use several radio telescopes worldwide (e.g. LOFAR, uGMRT, VLA, and ASKAP). I am also working on modifying and improving the dynamical analysis code. Tech Exploration: As the study of astronomy always demands technical skills, I continually stay updated with the latest tech trends. Which immensely helps me in my work. I use Python (Pandas, Numpy, Matplotlib), C++ and bash for various purposes. I also know how to handle software issues in Windows and Linux systems and hardware issues in desktops and laptops. I am familiar with SSH client use for remote cluster and high performance computing. Connecting the Dots: In academia, I thrive on the opportunity to learn new things, whether it's coding, writing, or critical thinking. A quick learner, I master new skills in a limited time. This adaptability is a hallmark of my approach to both astronomy and technology. This versatility makes me a dynamic professional ready to contribute to innovative projects.
