Welcome to my profile. ‣ I lead a team of 15 plus members, a team of skilled L3 and L2 Oracle DBAs. I hold relevant experience of over 11 years. ‣ Proud to highlight the 40% boost in efficiency within my team by automating repetitive tasks, utilizing CI/CD and designing self service tools for app teams. ‣ I have extensive experience with Exadata, Oracle RAC, Data guard, RMAN, Oracle ASM, Backup strategies, Database patching and DB Upgrades. ‣ Good knowledge of AWS Cloud infrastructure with hands-on experience in managing RDS,EC2 and CloudWatch services. ‣ Thorough experience in resolving high priority production issues in a 24*7 support environment. ‣ Skilled in undertaking research for the root-cause of incidents and thus eliminate unplanned interruptions in future. ‣ I have worked with industry leaders Oracle India Pvt Ltd and BNY Mellon in a highly demanding, time sensitive environment. ‣ Ensure database security by regularizing patches and vulnerability fixes. ‣Proficient in performance tunning and fixing problem areas with the help of AHF and AWR reports. ‣Expert in quick disaster recovery management and maintenance of DR sites. ‣Highlights of my skillset would be People management, Teamwork, Proactive maintenance, Active monitoring strategies and reducing manual effort by using Automations. ‣Throughout my journey, I have trained many DBA professionals and aspiring candidates on core Oracle DB admin topics.(affiliated with Focus Training Services). ‣I proudly wear as a CROWN! that I have a community of skilled colleagues and mentors alongside to fuel my drive to the future roles. ‣ I am good at firefighting and do not hesitate to utilize possible workarounds as a temporary fix to a burning problem. When not working, you'll find me playing musical instruments, riding bike, travelling to the mountains and practicing my rusted dancing skills with my amazing son!
