About Sage Hubert

Prior to becoming a veterinarian, I worked at a local veterinarian practice in New Hampshire. During my undergraduate studies, I completed an animal care internship at the Philadelphia zoo and participated in various research projects. Since graduation from veterinary school, I have completed three veterinary internship programs. My first internship was focused on rotating through various veterinary medicine specialties such as emergency and critical care, internal medicine, cardiology, neurology, ophthalmology, oncology, surgery, and radiology. My passion for emergency medicine and cardiology led me to accept two more cardiology focused internships one being in a private practice while the other was at an academic establishment. In May 2020, I was accepted into my current position which is a residency in veterinary cardiology. I help manage hospitalized patients, receive cardiac cases, and perform interventional procedures with my mentors. I particularly enjoy complex congenital cardiac cases as well as emergency cardiac procedures.
