About Sage Snider
I'm a lawyer licensed in D.C. with a passion for cultural heritage, copyright, and election law. I am currently the Public Interest Legal Fellow for Free Speech For People, bringing legal experience from internships at the Tennessee ACLU, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, and the Institute of Museums and Library Services. I clerked for the D.C. Court of Appeals, graduated Order of the Coif with a J.D. from Vanderbilt Law School, and have authored multiple publications on laws pertaining to Confederate monument removal. Beyond my legal background, I have professional experience working in museums and as a touring musician. I have also been a leader in the national nonprofit Braver Angels, which works to fight polarization in America. In addition to my Vanderbilt J.D, I have a master's in public humanities from Brown University and a B.A. in humanities from Yale University.
