Responsibilities: -Operate and maintain FDM 3D printers specifically suited for high-temperature filaments like ULTEM 9085. -Select appropriate materials for various projects and prototypes based on specific design requirements. -Prepare and optimize 3D models for printing with high-temperature filaments considering factors like warping and shrinkage. -Prepare and optimize 3D models for printing. -Calibrate and troubleshoot FDM printers to ensure optimal performance and print quality. -Perform post-processing techniques on printed parts such as support removal sanding finishing and painting. -Maintain accurate inventory levels of filaments and printing supplies by doing up to date material consumption. -Ordering and receiving materials for 3d printing application. -Design organic products for medical applications using FDM printing technology. -Research and evaluate new materials and printing techniques for product development. -Conduct routine maintenance on FDM printers to prevent downtime and ensure smooth operation and keeping the records. -Identify and troubleshoot potential printing issues. Filament Management: -Implement proper storage procedures for filament to maintain optimal printing quality. -Monitor filament for moisture content and utilize dehydration techniques when necessary.
