I’m a people-centered HR professional who believes that organizations thrive when their people are empowered, supported, and truly feel at home. With over 14 years of hands-on HR and administrative experience in both Canada and Sri Lanka, I’ve had the privilege of working across a diverse range of industries including healthcare, logistics, garment manufacturing, tire manufacturing, textile (fabric and lace) manufacturing, cashew manufacturing and retail, as well as sales and marketing. My journey in HR began in 2010, and since then I’ve taken on progressively senior roles where I’ve contributed to organizational growth through strong employee relations, policy development, benefits administration, payroll coordination, recruitment, training, and workplace culture building. I’m experienced in both unionized and non-union environments and bring a balanced, strategic, and people-first approach to everything I do. What sets me apart is my adaptability and cross-industry perspective—having supported frontline teams, administrative staff, and senior leadership alike. I’m committed to continuous learning and staying current with HR best practices and compliance requirements.
