I’m a corporate communications executive, marketing strategist, personal branding specialist, and Harvard-certified emotional intelligence expert who drives brand growth, commercialization, and talent strategy for innovative companies. As a communications leader, I develop, activate, and optimize successful market entry, sales, and communication strategies. As an organizational leader, I oversee marketing teams, design workflows, processes, and procedures, assist with employment decisions, and lead product launches. My key areas of expertise include:> Leading brand growth via communication strategy, personal brand creation, and media pitches.> Directing talent strategy to attract, retain, and grow a strong workforce.> Spearheading patient advocacy by collaborating with clinical operations teams to make sure communications are mindful of the patient experience. In my current contract role as Director of Corporate Communications and Talent Development at ARTIDIS, I support the CEO and Chief Commercialization Officer by directing US market entry strategy, leading brand growth, directing talent strategy, and spearheading patient advocacy. I’m known as an empathetic communicator, motivational manager, and active listener who coaches teams to increase leadership capacity and cultivate an emotionally intelligent corporate culture. My patient journey with stage 3 cancer led me to patient advocacy when I observed firsthand the opportunities for providers to infuse emotional intelligence into their communications. My goal is to improve long-term patient outcomes while alleviating healthcare provider burnout. Prior to this, I worked as a professional speaker who was hired by HBO, Facebook, Whole Foods, and other leading companies to present on emotional intelligence and develop an empathetic team culture. As the Founder of Own Your Voice Strategy Firm, I strategized and delivered market entry and communication strategies for several healthcare innovation companies. Every day, I’m grateful to be a stage 3 cancer survivor, and outside of work, I enjoy mentoring, meditation, yoga, and salsa dancing.
