Career Overview & Education: Sahil holds a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 14 years of diverse industrial experience in Technical and Commercial roles. He started the career in a technical field like Design and Application Engineering and gradually transitioned into a commercial and front-end customer-facing role of Sales and Business Development. Core Competencies: Over the years, he has developed competency in techno-commercial areas like B2B Sales, Business Strategy, Consultative Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Value Selling, and customer relationship building. He is experienced in managing primarily Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and to some extent Aftermarket customers. Development (ongoing process): Participation in corporate level trainings over the years and hands on experience gives me confidence while working with internal and external stakeholders on the technical side, which is a must for my field of work. Learning still continues. Way Forward : After successfully working across multi-national companies back home (India) and climbing the ladder of my career, I decided to have an experience of different cultures in another country. Being aware, it would be challenging to start all over again, but I firmly believed in my capabilities and skills. So, I made a decision to live in Canada for the coming years (mid 2023 onwards) with my family and enjoy the challenges.
