About Sahil Kushwaha

I am a tech enthusiast and a Leadership practitioner. What primarily interests me is the space for learning and delivering Leadership, Teamwork, Strategic Planning, Management skills, and improving lives. I proudly say that my mindset is trained & developed inside a youth-friendly environment of the most innovative organization I have ever seen, AIESEC. I believe my purpose is to create a positive impact on people's lives. After more than two years of experience in Human Resource Management, I simply envision developing myself as an empathetic leader in this field. My values are: Integrity, Freedom, Empowerment Inspires me to act: Clarity, connected with Identity, doing things differently Role in team: Specialist, Implementer (Among Belbin Team Roles) My journey started in school, where I was proactive in ECAs, and got awarded for that too. In school, I used to volunteer; I was house vice-captain and was event manager of the high school club, VSN Innovators Club. While in high school, I was selected out of 600+ applicants to be one of the thirty council members of Nepal Teen Leaders- Batch I. It opened the door to opportunities outside school. Soon after my +2, I joined AIESEC in Patan, where I took the role of Vice President- Talent Management within six months. This role has enormous impact on my life and inspired me to explore myself. It taught me what leadership is about; I developed my hard skills and explored the Talent Management/HR department. In this experience, I found my alignment with HR Department, so I decided to continue working even after AIESEC. Then I joined Human Resource Department at Foodmandu. At Foodmadnu, I received a good appreciation for my work, skills, enthusiasm and conduct, along with some constructive feedback that helped improve my interpersonal skills. Working at Khaanpin has directly and indirectly shown me the way towards more growth. It was an opportunity to act as head of the department. Taking major decision, creating SOPs, improvising tools, trackers, processes, forms, format, and official letters. Similarly, handling employees' grievances, creating policies, organizing events, internal communication and preparing HR reports are the tasks performed under my accountability.
